Stay at home mom!

So tomorrow is Tucker's two week check up...I am excited but nervous at the same time..I don't know why I am nervous..I think it might be because it's actually hitting me that I am a mommy and I will be checking him into the Dr. Craziness!

Tomorrow Wade goes back to work..But he doesn't go in til noon to check in then he's coming right back home to us..So we get one more day with him.

So on Tuesday I officially have my first day of work..A stay at home mom.. Some people have already given me a hard time about staying home..basically they are saying that I'm just going to sit around and watch tv (mainly men saying this) but they have no idea how much it takes to take care of a little one..Especially one that is breast feeding. Aw well, everyone is going to have their opinion I suppose.

Friday Night

It's so funny how in high school/college if you don't have somewhere to go or something to do on a Friday you feel like a loser...I am home this cool breeze Friday night enjoying my boys..Even though husband is playing Medal of Honor (Video game) I am enjoying every minute of this..It's just so amazing this feeling I have being home snuggled up to my Tucker.

Tomorrow I'm off to a girlfriends baby shower..At first I wasn't going to take Tucker just because I don't want everyone holding him and passing him around but now I am going to take him just because hubby is worried that if he gets hungry and starts crying that it would take me a while to get home and he doesn't want Tucker to be sad/hungry (which I understand) So Tucker is going to tag along but chill in the sling..I'm really going to have to just put my foot down and nicely say no.....I hope the ladies understand why I don't want him held or passed around.. We shall see! But I am oh so excited to see all my friends..I haven't seen some of these ladies in like a month..Oh how I miss them!

Here is my Tonka Tuck..For those of you who don't know Tucker was born 10/17/10.. He is oh so amazing and I can't imagine life with out him. We are enjoying being a family of three..I just love to stare at him and can't stop giving him kisses..I know I haven't been on here since the beginning of my pregnancy but I'm really going to try to make an effort to keep all updated especially everyone in Texas (because if I don't I know my mom would be oh so sad) More to come......
